Carly Sergeant was in fine form as Portsmouth Pivotals beat Fareham Flyers 19-11 in All About Netball League division four.

Pivotals, who emerged from a Back to Netball session and have grown into a club with qualified coaches and budding umpires, started slowly.

But after trailing 3-2 at the end of the first quarter, they were level by half-time and eased clear in the second half.

Sergeant’s skiful movement and accurate shooting was key.

Amy Woods was players’ player for Flyers.

Queens Head Royals beat Delme Diamonds 17-15.

In a very even game, wing-attacks Jay Yeomans, of Royals, and Donna Parsons, from Diamonds, were strong.

Estee Elites’s winning streak was halted by a 20-15 defeat to Solent Shooters.

Cams Cyclones shooter Sarah Morris did sister team Cams Clutter no favours as she inspired a 24-8 win.

In division three, Cams Confusion beat Skittles 20-9 – with Maria Thomas Ellis in superb form.

An injury to Rachel Anderson left Skittles vulnerable.

Fireflys Lilac, who have only lost once in their first adult season, beat Oceans 20-17.

Cookies met another young team – Cams Squidgys – and this time experience was the winner, 27-22.

Allsorts finished strongly but ran out of time in a 20-18 defeat to Glitter-Mix.

Julie Tizzard excelled in defence.

In division one, Warriors beat Swanmore 23-16 in the top-of-the-table clash.

Bounties went down 35-21 to Netstars in a very sporting encounter.

Wildcats beat Tornadoes 22-11 and Knowle Hotshots lost to Cams Chaos 28-23.
