'˜There is no doubt we should be competing and beating Dartfordians.

'˜At the moment we are just a team struggling without confidence.

'˜We all know how important a bit of momentum is in rugby.

'˜It is something we need to find so we can get on a bit of a role.

'˜That is proving difficult for us at the present time.

'˜This is one that got away.

'˜When we got back to 16-14 in the second half we felt we were the better team, playing the better rugby.'

'˜Andy Burns crossed the line for a well-worked catch-and-driving-maul try within the first five minutes of the game.

'˜Our defence was solid throughout the game.'

Wing forward Rikky Curtis produced a stand-out display, scoring a hat-trick of tries.

Locks Heath Pumas had to settle for a losing bonus point in their 16-13 Hampshire one defeat against Ellingham & Ringwood.

In the wet conditions forward power and the team that made the least mistakes would win the game.

Pumas struck first with an opening try after five minutes.

Outside-half Kent Streek gathered the ball and fed James Campbell for the try converted by Robbie Connell.

Then Connell added a penalty but a try and two penalties left Pumas trailing 11-10 at the break.

In a cagey second half all the Pumas could manage was another Connell penalty.

Team manager and injured captain Joel Stocker said: '˜The conditions were tough and we were disappointed to lose.

'˜But we are building a great squad and are looking positively towards the future.'
