Eoin Morgan is banking on a very positive approach from the team on the south coast for the match on Saturday, May 11.

He said: ‘The Ageas Bowl certainly holds a special place in my heart, we’ve had great success here and it’s a great place to come. Every international I’ve played here has been an amazing atmosphere.

‘The identity of the team is that we play positive, aggressive, smart cricket and we give absolutely everything when we go out onto the field and that’s identifiable in every game that we play.’

A host of free, family-friendly activities will be available on-site at next weekend’s fixture, all of which can be enjoyed for free, with a climbing wall, giant inflatables, laser quest, power-hitting net, catching challenge and kids coaching, as well as post-match entertainment all featuring.

Similar activities have been installed on-site for England’s Internationals at the venue for the previous five years, and the provision demonstrates the Ageas Bowl’s continued efforts to introduce International cricket to the next generation of fans.

The venue was recognised for its outstanding family experience at last December’s ECB’s Business of Cricket Awards, taking home the ‘Welcome Families Award’ for its commitment to delivering unforgettable family days out.

The Ageas Bowl’s Head of Customer Experience, Greig Stewart said: ‘We’re committed to inspiring the next generation of cricket fans and offering a whole range of family-friendly activities once again at this summer’s ODI highlights this. These activities will help offer a fantastic experience to all families visiting our venue for what’s sure to be a thrilling spectacle.’
