Locks Heath swimmer Charlotte in the medals at Southampton Spring Meet

Locks Heath Swimming Club members collected 83 personal bests at the Southampton Spring Meet.

The 29-strong team competed in 126 events, with Charlotte Aris, 11, collectinG a medal of every colour – gold in 50m Butterfly, silver in 100m Butterfly, 100m Backstroke and 100m Freestyle and bronze in 200m Individual Medley.

Daisy Smith also took gold in the 50m Freestyle event.

Josh Beadsworth won silver in 50m Butterfly, 100m Backstroke and 100m Freestyle and bronze in the 50m Backstroke and Freestyle.

Other medalists from Locks Heath were Ella Harrison (silver 100m Butterfly), Toby Godwin (silver 200m Individual Medley), Owen Berry (bronze 100m Backstroke) and Katie Jones (bronze 50m Breaststroke).

Also competing: Jasmine Allen, Annie Armitage, Emilia Armitage, Sophie Bagby, Eva Beaudro, Elizabeth Brown, Asher Fletcher, Ruby Goddard, Alfie Henderson, Anna Harding, Josh Henderson, Sam Kent, Emily Morgan, Max Rowlinson, Matilda Russell, Emily Russell, Grace Sandford, Lucy Selby and Evie Sherriff-Lee, Kai Wold, Amelia Woodford and Amelia Wright.

Head Coach Lynda Reis said: ‘I was impressed with the number of personal bests at this Meet as we had had such a successful Meet just a couple of weeks earlier.’
