Archie Reynolds anchored Waterlooville’s progress into the last eight.

The opener hit an unbeaten 42 as his side won by two wickets off the penultimate ball at Rowlands Avenue.

It was a vital knock as the other four members of the top five - Matt Shaw, Alex Shephard, Ashan Silva and Max Goddard - only managed five runs between them as Waterlooville collapsed to 18-4.

Skipper Sam Hillman hit 23 but a low total was still on the cards when Waterlooville reached 74-7.
