Toby’s gold rush is a highlight for Locks Heath at Fareham Nomads’ Valentine Meet

The Locks Heath swimmers at the Fareham Nomads Meet.

A 27-strong team produced 90 personal best times in addition to the golds, 13 silver and 10 bronze.

Ella Harrison topped the medal table with seven - gold in 50m Backstroke, silver in 200m Freestyle, 200m Individual Medley, 100m Backstroke and bronze in the 100m Freestyle.

Toby Ellis scooped four golds - 50m Butterfly, 100m Butterfly, 50m Freestyle and 100m Freestyle - and silver in the 50m Backstroke.

Gold medals also went to Owen Berry (50m Butterfly and 100m Backstroke), Finley Taplin (100m Breaststroke and 200m Freestyle), Josh Beadsworth (50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle), Daisy Smith (50m Freestyle and 100m Freestyle), Asher Fletcher (100 Butterfly), Jacob Knapp (100m Backstroke) and Sophie Bagby (100m Breaststroke).

Silvers were won by Beadsworth (100m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly), Fletcher (200m Freestyle). Lucy Selby (200m Freestyle), Knapp (50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle), Smith (100m Backstroke) and Bagby (50m Breaststroke).

Bronze were acquired by Selby (100m Butterfly, 100m Freestyle and 200m Individual Medley), Beadsworth (100m Butterfly and 100m Backstroke), Taplin (50m Backstroke), Fletcher (100m Breaststroke) and Knapp (100m Freestyle) and Daisy Smith (200m Individual Medley).

Other Locks swimmers competing were Ben Cook, Elizabeth Brown, Max Rowlinson, Amelia Wright, Evie Sherriff-Lee, Eva Beaudro, Amelia Woodford, Grace Sandford, Anna Harding, Katie Jones, Josh Henderson, Alfie Henderson, Layla Da and Harrison Plaw.

Youngsters Jonny Leeds, Sam Kent and Kai Wold competed at their first Meet.
