Patryk Huczkowski secured victory in the Chichester Sprint Try a Tri race.
The Portsmouth Triathletes racer completed the event, part of the Chichester Triathlon Series, with a time of 1hr 27min 22sec.
Matt Jolly was second as he clocked 1.29.33 and Fife AC’s George Little, who is based in Portsmouth with the Royal Navy, secured third place (1.29.36).
Both Huczkowski and Little raced against each other in the Portsmouth Duathlon Series this year.
Little edged that battle in a dramatic series of run, bike, run races.
But it was Huczkowski hit top form in the popular Chichester triathlon race to get an impressive win.
Rupert Rhodes, from Portsmouth Triathletes, was fifth with a time of 1.31.21, and won his age group.
City of Portsmouth Athletics Club star Ted Yeates performed strongly with a good seventh place finish in the senior race (1.33.00).
Amber Westron, of Chichester Westgate, was first lady with a time of 1.34.07.
Rosie Acton finished second in 1.37.26 and Micaela Floyd was third (1.38.26).
Chichester Westgate Tri Club’s Harry Leleu was first in the standard distance triathlon with a time of 1.57.28.
Mikey Johnson was second as he finished in 2.03.43 and Chichester’s Adam McCulloch was third (2.06.40).
Michelle Rideout was first lady (2.16.54) with Annie Rebindaine second (2.21.55) and Petersfield’s Jenny Philips third (2.24.01).
Aquathlon races (swim, run) were also held for the TriStars juniors.
