Knight hoping break to launch Havant's season
Havant are hoping their two-week break can help them launch their London one south campaign.
The Hooks Lane side are still looking for a first win as they travel to London Cornish on Saturday.
It's Havant's seventh successive away game, which has been tough on Will Knight's side.
However, the senior coach is hoping Havant's nomadic existence won't be for much longer.
He said: 'Our new 4G pitch is nearly ready and we hope to be on it in a few weeks.
'˜It has been a bizarre start to the season and the situation hasn't been helped by a crippling injury list.
'˜We have also had two of our key players, Scott Morris and Joel Knight, suspended.
'˜Not many would have predicted the way the season has gone so far.
'˜Also the impact of travelling every week for games has been greater than expected.
'˜The break came at the right time for us and now we must look to kick-start our season.
'If we can start playing with more confidence the players out there are more than good enough to get the job done.'
Havant are boosted by the availability of back-row forward Joe Davis.
His decision-making experience and line-out expertise will make a big difference.
The visitors also welcome Wayne Dugan back in the three-quarters after injury.
Meanwhile, United Services travel to Warlingham in a top-of-the-table London three south west clash.
Services, who are unbeaten since the first game of the season, occupy second spot.
Player-coach Rich Neil reckons the next couple of weeks will be crucial for the Burnaby Road side.
He said: '˜This game and the derby against Portsmouth will decide where we are going to compete in this league.
'˜We are good value for our position in the league.
'˜The team is playing well and our fitness levels have been better than our opponents.
'˜The players are enjoying the challenge of stepping up a level.
'˜Warlingham beat Portsmouth in their last game but we will be going there with a positive approach.'
Southsea Nomads are in Hampshire two action against Chineham at Furze Lane (3pm).
