The Berkshire side were thrashed 6-2 at Cirencester Town in their last game.

Carter believes this makes them more dangerous opponents.

The Moneys boss is also keen to use the recent hard work put in by everyone at the club to get up the table as a platform to build from.

He said: '˜They will be determined to make amends and bounce back from their heavy defeat.

'˜We have to be prepared to go there and make sure we pick up all three points.

'˜In our last game we put in a good, solid performance to secure a 1-0 win against Cinderford.

'˜I am looking for a similar performance.

'˜We have worked hard to get into the top four and must make sure we don't let it slip.

'˜If you look at the top eight teams we have already played six or seven of them.

'˜Last season we were number one at Christmas and I am looking for the same again this time around.

'˜Quite a few of our games in the run up to Christmas are against teams at the lower end of our league.

'˜We must look to get ourselves onto another good little run.

'˜It is a chance to get good momentum and start knocking on the door at the top.

'˜Last year we let things slip in the new year mainly due to a glut of injuries and suspensions.

'˜I don't envisage that happening again this time.'

Moneys are hoping to have experienced defender Brett Poate back from injury.

His wealth of experience is invaluable to Moneyfields.

There is a doubt about forward Joe Briggs who is suffering with knee problems.

But Carter is pleased to have the majority of his squad fit which gives him extra options.

He added: '˜There is great competition for places and as a manager that has to be a good thing.

'˜It is a good problem to have.'
