He said: '˜We have three central defenders all out injured at the moment.

'˜Sam Pearce, Brett Poate and Curtis Da Costa are all missing.

'˜Melksham will present us with a stiff test because they have only lost once in the league this season.

'˜We have done our homework and expect them to sit deep and try to hit us on the break.

'˜Our next three games are all at home and we must look to capitalise on that.

'˜The big bonus for us is that Steve Hutchings and Dan Wooden are both getting back to full match fitness.'

Wooden hit the only goal of the game in the 1-0 win against Evesham United on Saturday.

Derby action dominates the Wessex League premier division programme.

Baffins Milton Rovers manager Steve Leigh is demanding a hard-working display from his team as they host Fareham Town at the PMC Stadium (7.45pm).

Leigh was disappointed by Rovers throwing away a two-goal lead in the 2-2 draw against Tadley Calleva.

He felt once they established their advantage the players became lazy.

He won't tolerate a repeat against the Reds.

In contrast Fareham clawed back a two-goal deficit to claim a 2-2 draw against Team Solent.

AFC Portchester and Horndean go head to head at the Crest Finance Stadium (7.45pm)

The visitors climbed above their hosts into second spot.

Horndean manager Michael Birmingham feels the timing of the game isn't ideal.

He said: '˜We go for weeks without a midweek game and then suddenly we have one four days before an important FA Vase game.

'˜I don't see the sense in that.

'˜This is a tough game and I don't think there will be a lot in it.'
