With £15,000 prize money and a place in the next round on offer there is plenty at stake for both teams.

This is already the furthest the home side have ever gone in the most famous Cup competition in the world.

Manager Dave Carter admits being just two games away from the first round proper is an exciting prospect for the little local club.

He is also aware of the difficult task facing his team against Worthing who are flying at a level above.

The Moneys boss said: '˜This is a huge game for the club.

'˜Worthing showed their pedigree by winning at Conference South, Chelmsford City in the last round.

'˜We have shown we are capable of rising to the occasion and playing well against good sides.

'˜Cup games against the Hawks, Hayes & Yeading and Evesham United have proved that.

'˜We are at home and I have said all along I would fancy our chances against anyone at Dover Road.

'˜Worthing play their home games on an article 3G surface.

'˜They might not like what they find at our place.

'˜Our pitch is not at its best because we were let down by contractors in the close-season.

'˜Maybe they won't fancy it.

'˜If they have an off-day and we play well who knows what might happen.'

The home side will be in confident mood following their 5-1 thrashing of Evesham United in the FA Trophy.

They will hope they can march on again now in the FA Cup and continue the excellent cup form.

Another key factor could be the return of their talismanic striker Steve Hutchings after a 10-match ban.

Hutchings had a run out at Totton in the Southern League Cup in midweek and came through it well.

Fellow striker Felipe Barcelos faces a late fitness test.

Carter added: '˜It will be a fantastic achievement if we get through.

'˜We have come a long way since the Wessex League days.

'˜Also we have players like Brett Poate, Sam Pearce, Dan Wooden and Dan Woodward who have played big games before.

'˜They were all with Gosport at Wembley in their FA Trophy final a few years back.

'˜The big occasion won't concern them.'
