Stiles wants Reds to continue good record at Bashley'¦Â Deans '˜ticking over well'

Pete Stiles is hoping Bashley will continue to be a happy hunting ground for Fareham Town as they meet in the Wessex League premier division on Saturday.

Stiles has a good record at the New Forest ground.

Both teams are doing well so it should be an exciting match.

He said: '˜I don't think I have lost there since being in charge at Fareham.

'˜Hopefully we can keep that going.

'˜We are unbeaten in eight games but they are also going well.

'˜They have thumped Portchester and beaten Baffins recently.

'˜We will need to make sure we defend set-pieces because that is a strength of theirs.

'˜With a number of players ruled out because of injury and unavailability we have to be prepared to go there and roll our sleeves up.

'˜It is quicker for me to name the players available rather than those who aren't.'

Eight players are ruled out but Stiles is hoping to have Curt Robbins, Ed Plackett, Shawn Benjamin and Del Harding back in contention.

Horndean manager Michael Birmingham is expecting Bemerton Heath Harlequins to be strong when they come to Five Heads Park on Saturday (3pm).

He said: '˜You never get an easy game against Bemerton.

'˜They are young, well organised and play to their strengths.

'˜Like all games we have to make sure that we prepare properly.'
