Portsmouth assistant coach Jim Pearce has called for a big performance from his players

‘That will almost guarantee them pointsm while we finish the season with three hard games.

‘We have already lost at home to KCS and they are a typical Old Boys team.

‘They have young players who possess good skills but we have to go there and impose our game on them.’

Portsmouth make one enforced change after prop forward Ryan Wilkie picked up a concussion playing for Hampshire against the Royal Navy.

Ian French comes in to take his place at tight-head prop.

In Hampshire One, seventh-placed Fareham Heathens travel to third-placed Fordingbridge looking for a big performance.

Centre Rob Impey says his team are in good heart despite being beaten at New Milton last week.

‘Spirits in the camp are high,’ said Impey.

‘The squad is keen to get out on the park and put a good week’s training into a match situation.’

Impey added: ‘With only three matches left of the league season, we are looking for the points that will ensure we can finish as high up the table as possible.

Locks Heath Pumas welcome Aldershot and Fleet to Brookfield School, looking to bounce back from two humiliating defeats at the hands of the top two sides in the Hampshire Two.
