Steve Davis lifted the pairs handicap for the third time as he and Paul Stracey tasted glory.

The Mayfair duo lost the first frame on a re-spotted black but went on to win the next three to beat 147 Legends pairing Iain Smith and Simon Chapman 3-1.

Davis first won the pairs trophy with Fraser Hicks in 1990 when he played for the old Top Pocket club.

He also won it with Paul Street in 1999.
