Phil Ledington won the Sid Matthews Cup.
He beat John Oldfield 600-534 in the final.
The billiards scratch competition was hard-fought, with the first to 600 taking the prize.
Both players did well in the final.
Ledington got into the game first with breaks of 41 and 43.
Oldfield hit back with a 33 break.
Ledington then found his range again as he made breaks of 31 and 43.
Oldfield replied with three breaks in the 20s and then a 43.
But Ledington hit a 48 to move clear again.
Oldfield had to pull some good shots out of the bag but missed and allowed Ledington in for a break of 40 to seal victory.
Ledington had earlier beaten Steve Lawrence 500-370 in his semi-final.
Oldfield defeated Kearn 500-487 in a hard-fought contest with the experienced duo struggling to find their form in the early stages.
Meanwhile, Andy Boulton won the Harding Cup as he saw off John Wyatt in the final.
Boulton started better in the handicap singles competition.
He made a 33 break with his first visit.
Wyatt found it difficult to get to grips with his shots and let Boulton in to make a 35.
By the time Wyatt had cleared his handicap, Boulton was already on 100 points.
By this stage Wyatt was going for his shots.
And he felt better after a break of 23.
But the contest was soon finished as Boulton rattled in a break of 43 to seal a 150-26 success.
In a close semi-final, Boulton beat Alan Wakefield 150-145.
Wyatt’s billiards experience proved too much for Pedro Ferguson, as he recorded a comprehensive 150-54 victory.
