Waterlooville on point in Peter Rook Cup

147 Legends secured the double after winning the Bob Lomax Memorial Trophy.

The league champions overcame a spirited fight by Hill Park B to win 5-2 at Mayfair Snooker Club.

Dave Hume was in excellent form for the Legends, rolling in breaks of 31 and 74 in his singles win.

Pascal Richard also got in on the act by crafting a 46, and Colin Norton a 44.

The Legends were 4-2 up after the singles and only needed to win one of the three doubles games to secure victory.

Norton and Hume finished it as they wrapped up their frame.

It brings an end to a successful season for the Legends.

The Bob Lomax Memorial Trophy is the Gosport and Fareham League’s FA Cup, named in memory of a former player and referee.
