A fantastic display of potting from Mike Talmondt fired Craneswater A to another victory.

The Southsea cueist showed his class to crush Bellair for the division one leaders.

In the singles, Alan Smith had just three shots.

Breaks of 81 and 38 did the job for Talmondt.

In the doubles, Talmondt hit a 75 as Craneswater recorded a 7-2 victory.

Steve Toms won twice as he cleared the final three colours to beat Jim Hutton.

Tony Hansford also delivered a double.

Mark Jones won both as Craneswater Z beat Portchester X.

Neil Turp kept it down to 6-3 with a double.

Bellair B rallied in the latter stages at Copnor B.

They were 4-0 down before Louis May and Paul Jagger got two each.

Den Hushley went undefeated, though, as Copnor won 5-4.

Gary Moore hit a 55 as Craneswater R crushed Alexandra 8-1 to lead the way in division two.

Copnor D edged a 5-4 win against Craneswater Q.

Skipper Dave Glover, Tony Simmons and Steve Kearn potted well.

Leigh Park picked up a 5-4 at North End.

Ricky Burnett was their top man with two wins.

Carlton slipped up at home as Post Office nicked a 5-4.

It was level after the singles before the match was decided on the doubles.

Pompey Royals are still unbeaten in division three.

They head the table by two points after a 5-4 victory over Copnor F.

Matt Johnson and Colin Johnson were on target as Top Spot recorded a 6-3 win against Copnor Cuestars.

Steve Wilson enjoyed his day for Top Spot, while Jamie Wilson did well for the young aces.

Cowplain B got the better of their club-mates.

Dave Weadon and Ray Axton scored wins for Ted Dowse’s beaten Cowplain C outfit.

Dave Pitman and Peter Gorvin scored decisive victories for the B team.
