WHILE budding snooker talent Jordan Winbourne is riding high in Portsmouth, over in the Gosport and Fareham League he is also scoring heavily.

The 16-year-old knocked in a 79 and 34 as he rolled over league legend Steve Davis.

But his Stubbington Hawks side couldn’t manage a win and ended up drawing 6-6 with title challengers Carry on Mayfair.

It still leaves them top by six points, ahead of Metrose.com who romped to an 8-4 win at home to HMS Collingwood.

Steve Spillett rattled in a 41 break in his 2-0 success, while Adam Bobat notched a classy 69. Chris Robinson made a 34 and team-mate Gary Polkinghorne enjoyed a run of 31 as their Mayfair Masters side drew with 147 D.
