Jordan Winbourne thundered in a 123 break as he continues to smash records in the Gosport & Fareham Snooker League.

The stunning clearance is the highest of the season so far – and the biggest recorded since Pascal Richard’s 129 in the 2005-06 campaign.

The century came in a pairs match during Stubbington Hawks’ 6-3 victory over Stoke B in the Bob Lomax Memorial Trophy.

It means Winbourne now has the highest break in cup competitions and league matches – having made a superb 119 earlier in the season.

The 16-year-old potting machine also boasts the highest break in the Pompey league too, after knocking in a 115 for Gosport 147.

The win for the Hawks puts them in second place in group three and in a good position to progress to the quarter-finals.

Group leaders Hill Park B look certain to make the knockout stage after thumping Hill Park C 8-1.

Mayfair Jesters top group one and are favourites to make it through, while 147 Legends look set to join them as they lead group two.
