Spencer completes 300th parkrun on a great day at Fareham

Spencer has been involved with parkrun for many years at Eastleigh, Netley Abbey and Fareham.

He is a regular tourist, both within the UK and internationally including an overnight coach trip in the USA just to go to a parkrun.

On Saturday at Fareham he completed his 300th parkrun, a wonderful milestone and he crowned it with a new personal best for the fantastic course at Cams Hall Estate.

Spencer is also a regular in the Lakeside 5k races.

A total of 129 runners completed Fareham’s 13th event.

City of Portsmouth youngster Callum Crook crossed the line first with a time of 18min 15sec.

Tina Al-Romaithi finished first lady as she set a new personal best time of 21.01.

Queen Elizabeth parkrun

The 166th QE parkrun attracted 70 runners with Denmead’s Jon Sullivan taking first place (19.17).

Summer Black finished first female with a new personal best time of 24.05.

She is in the junior age 11 to 14 group.

Suzi Wilson finished her 50th parkrun with a good run at the excellent Queen Elizabeth Country Park event.

Havant parkrun

Zack Lahlal crossed the line first as 240 runners completed the 213th Havant parkrun.

Lahlal’s time was 17.20, just a bit short of his 17.05 personal best.

The first lady was Libby Marchant (22.23).

Danny Norman ran his 485th parkrun.

It was his second trip to Havant parkrun.

Victory club member Jennifer James finished her 100th parkrun.

Portsmouth Lakeside parkrun

Pete Collins finished first at Portsmouth Lakeside parkrun with a time of 17.26.

Collins’ Portsmouth Joggers club-mate Nicola Thomas was first lady in a new personal best (23.00).

A total of 142 runners finished, including Mark Scarborough who completed his 50th parkrun and celebrated with a new personal best (27.50).

This event takes place at Lakeside North Harbour, Western Road, PO6 3EN.
