Three players from Lee-on-the-Solent helped to fire their county side into the record books.
Tim Vail, Brandon Hanley and Oliver Pett were part of the Sussex team who won both the national inter-county squash and racketball titles.
This is the first time a county has won the double and all three played a pivotal role.
Vail and Hanley helped the team become racketball champions.
Chichester duo Steve Wykes and Steve Wall were also in the side.
And Pett joined the team, along with Miles Jenkins, from Chichester, to secure the squash title.
Team captain Vail, who coaches at Lee-on-the-Solent, won the decisive match in the squash final.
He said: ‘We have picked from virtually the same squad of players for both squash and racketball for a few years now so it was really nice for us to achieve this together.
‘It has been quite a few years since we last won the squash title.
‘To do it in the same year as the racketball has just made it extra special.’
The victory in the racketball was a record achievement in itself as the team were crowned champions for the third year in a row.
They were also gunning for more glory in the squash.
And they did not disappoint as they beat Yorkshire in a hotly-contested final to complete the double.
