Talisman Bowmen are right on target with junior event
Enthusiasts between the ages of seven and 17 descended on Brookfield Community School, Sarisbury Green, for the chance to be crowned champion in their particular field of expertise.
And enthralling contests were enjoyed by all in recurve, compound and barebow competitions, with credit going to the youngsters for their responsible and courteous behaviour throughout the day.

Hide AdAmong those competing were archers from Andover, Alton, AC Delco, Havant & Hayling, Southampton, Winchester, Chichester and Crawley.
Titles and prizes were won by all clubs involved, including Talisman Bowmen.
Their impressive recurve team of Kristian Driver, Oliver Ryan and Aaliyah Arkell took the team title.
Meanwhile, Driver finished second behind Alton & Four Marks’ Luca Wright in the young gents under-18 event.

Hide AdSilver was also earned by Ryan in the under-16 gents recurve – and Michael Stevens in the compound young gents under-14 competition.
Arkell also picked up the Lady Paramount prize.
Forest of Bere Bowmen’s Rebecca Gidings won the recurve young Ladies’ under-18 event to earn the Horndean club honours on the day
