Rob Norris and son Jake have proved themselves a smash hit on the national stage.
The double act aced the father-and-son (under-10) competition at the LTA Family Championships at David Lloyd in Dudley, Birmingham.
And now Jake is aiming to become a winner on the junior stage as he bids to serve up further success in tournaments next year.
Rob, who is head coach at Warsash Tennis Club, and Jake travelled to the midlands in confident mood for the tournament finals.
They fought off rivals from all around the country before setting up a showdown with Leamington Spa father-and-son combination of Philip and George Holding.
And they were quick to make their mark in the final, racing into an early advantage and running out deserving victors.
Rob said: 'It was fantastic to win the father and son final.
'The Family Championships is a great event.
'It is unique, too, as no other tournament allows a parent and child to compete in an LTA-recognised tournament.
'In the American version of the event, the likes of John McEnroe and his father have played.
'While in the international event, entries have included John Newcombe and Roy Emerson with their sons.'
