Services already boast league and cup successes over tomorrow’s hosts.

‘We have lost a number of our three-quarters but will go up there with nothing to lose,’ he said.

‘After winning our last two league games, we are in a positive mood.

‘There are players stepping up and I am sure we will go and give it another great shot.’

The visitors are without Jimmy Taylor, Nathan Bond and Luke Peters in the backs, along with hooker Dave Reed, who is also away.

Centre Scott Carter is ruled out for the rest of the season after dislocating his collarbone.

Hampshire one leaders Fareham Heathens are expecting a real test as they cross the Solent to take on Sandown & Shanklin (2.15pm).

When the two sides met earlier in the season at
Cams Alders, Heathens secured a narrow 14-12 victory in appalling conditions.

Fareham’s head coach Bernie Rhodes warned island sides are an even tougher proposition on their own patch.

‘Sandown are never an easy team to beat on the island,’ he said.

‘Hopefully the conditions will be a lot better than they were in the first game.

‘We showed good depth in our squad to beat Fordingbridge with a number of key players missing.

‘Some of those players are returning to strengthen us even further.’

Rhodes welcomes back his first-choice goal-kicker Cam Guthrie, who missed the last game because he was watching England beat Italy in the Six Nations. Centre Rob Impey also returns in the centre, while Harrison Fokinther continues at tight-head prop.

Jonny Stoppard moves
into the back row in the absence of Fijian Inia Qiolevu.

‘We are in good shape at the moment,’ said Rhodes.

‘In our last four games we have scored over 100 points and conceded just 22.’

Struggling Locks Heath Pumas face a tough task as they entertain title-chasing Bognor at Brookfield School (2.15pm).

And in Hampshire two, Southsea Nomads welcome third-placed Overton to Furze Lane (2.30pm).
