Thomas Juel-Nielsen will be given the chance to earn himself a Pompey contract in the Premier League Cup on Monday night.
The Danish defender, who has been training with Kenny Jackett’s side over recent weeks, will play againt Everton at Westleigh Park in a bid to make his stay a permanent one.
No doubt there’ll be many Blues fans present to check out the 27-year-old’s credentials.
