Featuring a host of the country’s top artists, the spectacle would be a cultural celebration which would see still and moving art beamed on to the sides of historic and renowned buildings.

The major art spectacle has proven to be a massive success across the country; with London’s 2016 version pulling in tens of thousands of spectators and County Durham’s in 2011 attracting 150,000 spectators, helping to generate £4.3m for the economy.

James Ralls, co-organiser of Victorious, is leading the bid for Portsmouth.
