Cathedral choirs return with popular annual event

The Anglican cathedral's combined choirs will join forces with the Capelle Baroque Orchestra in another period-style performance of Handel's oratorio, Messiah, conducted by director of music David Price.

This popular annual event again has soprano Alexandra Stevenson, daughter of the late Bishop of Portsmouth, leading the quartet of vocal soloists, with the line-up completed by alto Tim Clifford Hill,
