Classic children's book gets a theatre twist
This year's festive production from The Berry Theatre in Eastleigh continues its great work in supporting the Rainbow Trust children's charity.
Founded in 1986, the charity supports families caring for a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness.
This year, the theatre will be showing a production of The Little Red Hen, a classic children’s story written by Margot Zemach.
However, putting a modern twist on the tale, the story features a pig with an iPod, a rat with a mobile phone and a lazy cow with a fake tan.
The play will run from December 12-24 at The Berry Theatre in Hedge End - tickets will cost £11 with £9 concessions, and are available at theberrytheatre.co.uk.
