Club Scene with Sam Cherry

After attending Jerry Williams' gig at The Wedgewood Rooms last weekend, it became clear that Portsmouth has the platform and community to offer young artists a spotlight to rise and I believe we definitely need promoters and venues to make this a priority so our music scene can develop even further.

Tonight on the electronic music front, Reform Music will be teaming up with Hotplates to present the Horizon Festival Portsmouth Launch at The Coastguard Studio, Southsea. Horizon is a huge ski festival in Andorra that also focuses on electronic music from March 26 to April 2.

Hosted by Joe Raygun, the line-up will see a blend of jungle, drum and bass and intelligent bass music from ETCH, Co:Lateral, Kirbstomp b2b NUMber, Mota b2b RJM, Bluescreen b2b See Jay and Elsta b2b Vinyl Richy. Doors open from 9pm until 3am, tickets cost £5 in advance or £7 on the door. More at facebook.com
