To start this weekend tonight at Drift Bar, Palmerston Road, former X-Factor contestant Janet Devlin will be headlining as part of her My Opium tour. Janet has definitely developed herself in to an independent singer-songwriter touring across Europe and the USA. She will be supported by Ella Payne, Mollie Scott, Marley Blandford and Winter’s Hill.

However, if electronic music is more your thing and you enjoy drum and bass, be sure to be attending Murky D&Bs free drum and bass history event tonight at The Old Barn, Milton, mixing the best of the classics with fresh off the block beats.

Murky will be taking the drum and bass vibes back to ’92, and bringing them right up to the current era with the line-up including Rayner and Alton X, Limey and Jakobi with MC Green, RJM and Ringle with MC Freestyle and Murky resident DJs Elsta, Vinyl Richy, Kinglsey, Dutte, Soundz, C-Biz with MCs TDOT, Ren Dola, Rivmik and Panna.

Tomorrow evening, Love Amplified show no stopping with their momentum in the tech house scene in Portsmouth as they present the headliner duo Solardo (Hot Creations) that have been smashing the house scene.

Joining the duo will be Amplified front duo Soul Divide as well as a solo set from Abbo.

For those unaware of Solardo, recent single Tribesman has been making the rounds in the house scene with regular play and support on BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM. Doors will be open from 10.30pm until 3.30am with tickets costing only £10. More information at facebook.com
