Contest to find an Instant Star

TONIGHT will see performers aged from nine to 62 take to the stage in a bid to win our Instant Star competition.

The annual contest gives people the chance to shine as they show off their talent in a bid to be crowned Instant Star 2016. Each performer will have two minutes to do their act.

All entrants had to register in advance.

The winner gets the chance to perform at a number of events, including The News’ own We Can Do It and WOW247 gala awards nights, as well as at the switching on of the Commercial Road Christmas lights and in the Children In Need show next month.

See tomorrow’s News for coverage of the night, and in Wednesday’s paper we will reveal the winner.

Entry is free and open to all. Doors open at 6.30pm.
