Dub-reggae pioneers to play in Portsmouth

However, this is something that Dreadzone have accomplished with ease, with Greg Dread, Leo Williams, MC Spree and reggae vocalist Earl 16 still at the helm.

They are now joined by guitarist Chris Compton and Bazil, who have been touring the world with the band, and currently helping with a new album, which will be released at the end of this year.

Formed in 1993, the group evolved itself after the turn of the new millennium, with a distinctive dub-reggae sound that was accompanied by contemporary beats, making them a club favourite.

In 2015, the the group re-issued their hit 2001 album Sound through their own label, Dubweiser. The album was heavily praised for continuing to provide listeners with a fresh and vibrant sound.
