Fox family put on a show in suburban garden
Despite leaving a £300 damage bill, Lynda Ibbotson said she has enjoyed watching the pups grow after they were born under decking in her garden in April.
‘People find them a bit of a pest because they leave a mess but it’s just part of life,’ she said.
‘They were a delight.’

‘I’ve not been sleeping because I’ve been up until 1am or 2am watching them,’ she said.
‘I’ve had a lot of people come around to watch them too although I don’t think my other neighbours share my enthusiasm.’
Lynda said although she has made no attempt to tame the wild animals, they were happy to lounge around the garden even in broad daylight.

‘The mum was covered in mange but I went to the vet and they kindly gave me some mange treatment which I gave to her by leaving it in a jam sandwich which she would eat before she fed her babies.
‘All I need now is a family of badgers because I’ve had everything else this summer.’
