Funk the borders for brace of local charities
Head on down to the Coastguard Studio in Southsea on Saturday, February 10 for a night of live jazz, funk, world music, spoken word and dancing to raise funds for local charities Friends Without Borders and Arms Around The Child.
The night will feature Panthalassa, a newly-formed Latin fusion group with a folk and soul twist. The RAM Band will bring together some of Portsmouth’s finest jazz musicians. The Southsea Groove Collective will get the dancefloor moving with their funky sounds. And Sahara Rock and Shakara Soul will move the feet with their stomping vinyl DJ sets. There’s spoken word from Moses Milner and Majid.
Doors from 8pm-1pm. Tickets £5 advance.
