The award was won in large part for their performance of Bach's Mass in B minor last July.

‘It’s a big work and we called in a few favours from one or two friends, and did a collaboration with a period instrument band in Sussex called the Consort of Twelve. It was just a fantastic day, which we all really enjoyed, and we had a big audience for it as well.’

The choir’s next concert is on March 28 at the Church of The Resurrection in Drayton, where they will be singing a classical program of Haydn and Mozart, including the latter’s well-known Exsultate Jubilate.
