Music hub launches jazz group for young people

YOUNG people in Portsmouth now have the opportunity to join a new jazz group.

Portsmouth Music Hub is launching the Portsmouth Jazz Band on Thursday from 6pm to 7pm.

There will be regular rehearsals, opportunities to improve under expert tuition, plus public performances.

The Jazz Band will rehearse every Thursday at the Portsmouth Guildhall. It is open to anyone up to the age of 25. It’s free to join and musicians must be a minimum of Grade 5 standard. For more call (023) 9237 5655.
