Portsmouth College students set for top gig at Wedgewood Rooms
The teens are set to play at the Edge of the Wedge, side venue to The Wedgewood Rooms, on April 21 as part of a regular set of showcases.
Bekah Houlsby, 18, a singer from the college, said: ‘We are always looking forward to the Wedge gig, knowing how well known it is as a venue.

Fay Edwards, 16, said: ‘Each night is always packed full of show-stopping performances by the talented students.
‘I see the college’s music department as one big family; everyone supports each other. It’s truly something fascinating to be a part of.’
This view is shared by many of the students. Brooke James, another singer aged 16, said: ‘Everybody always has great energy, and we pay huge credit to the people working on the mics, amps and lighting. Doing our own gigs is so much fun.’
