REVIEW:Â Constellations at The Spring Arts Centre, Havant
But that point of view clearly '“ and rightly '“ means nothing to Havant's very own Bench Theatre.
Novice director Daniel Finch must have imbibed vast flagons of insanity in choosing to direct it '“ but direct it he has and incredibly well.

Hide AdThe plot is boy-meets-girl '“ but it's a non-linear roller-coaster journey that examines the truth of the characters' lives from every possible angle.
The excellent direction is matched by equally excellent acting. Stuart Reilly (Roland) and Faye Williams (Marianne) play scene after scene, each almost identical to the one before, foot-sure and with an eye to the emotional detail that is, quite simply, staggeringly good.
It's not an easy watch '“ but it's a worthwhile and satisfying one.
At The Spring until Saturday.
