Slimmed-down Lisa Riley shows off her new look

The 39-year-old actress posted pictures of her new trim figure in a series of delighted Twitter posts.

The former Emmerdale star, who played Mandy Dingle, has lost over five and a half stone after going from a size 30 to a 16 in 10 months.

She said that she had received a ‘shock to the system’ that made her think again about her health.

Lisa told Bella magazine: ‘Losing my mum then seeing my dad wired up and nearly losing him and becoming an orphan was a shock to my system.

‘I don’t want to be a statistic. I just want my health to carry on, to live my life to the fullest.’

She posted on Twitter: I am very proud of what I have achieved.’

Lisa has been a patron of the Kings Theatre in Southsea since 2012, when she performed there in the pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
