Have your say

By all accounts last weekend has left most people with epic hangovers, especially anyone who attended the Love Amplified event on Saturday night.

Big well done to Ash Foster who raised £365 for Jack Robinson at his charity party last Friday. Every donation makes a huge impact.

Tonight there are many options of what to do and where to go. As its payday, it would be rude not to.

Check out Vault hosting Flamingos Bar, or Fever! Taking over The Barn, even The Eskimo Project dominating The Astoria and the Lyberry Bar or Indo Silver Club hijacking the Edge of the Wedge.

I will be heading to The Cellars in Eastney tonight for Beats & Swing’s latest event. Running from 7.30pm until 11.30pm they have Captain Flatcap headlining proceedings with support from The Random Scarves. As always I am sure this night won’t disappoint and will definitely open your eyes to some more interesting aspects of a night out. Tickets are £5 in advance or £7 on the door, available from

Also, the legendary rock and metal night that is Subversion will be rocking The Lounge N Theme from 10pm until 2am.

Mix up the ever-dominating house events with a bit of rock and get your mosh on, not forgetting your best head-banging skills.

Entry is £3 on the door all night.

Tomorrow is set to be another banger with Amplified Sessions as they have none other than Julio Bashmore gracing the decks of The Astoria.

Doors will open at 9pm as it has been so popular and is actually 100 per cent sold out,.

This means you should keep your eyes peeled for anyone selling their tickets as it is one of those events not to be missed.

Support in the main room comes from Kowton and Velour, while downstairs in the basement you can see an extended set from Solis, joined by Ash Foster and Jack Figgins.

Prepare yourself for another late one with a 5am finish.
