There’s a chance to celebrate the birthday of one of the new additions to the clubbing calendar this week, but first Club 8 return with a classic.

The longest running urban night on the walk returns tomorrow night as Club 8 holds another episode of Funk’d & Blush’d.

The club will be expertly dissected by two of the best DJs on the walk.

Bar 8 will feature Mike Money playing the best in commercial, indie, dance, pop, rock and all the best anthems. While Club 8 will be controlled by the popular J-Fresh from Fire Radio.

He’ll have his fingers all over a mix of R ‘n’ B, hip hop, grime, funk, dancehall and everything urban.

If it’s your birthday or you fancy becoming a VIP for the night, contact

Entry is £2 before 10.30pm, £4 before midnight and £6 after.

Beats & Swing are in the mood for a celebration tomorrow night as they present one of the best line-ups we’ve seen so far this year for their first Birthday Extravaganza.

There will be plenty of bands and DJs but here’s who is going to be behind the decks.

After big US remixes for Rihanna, Brandon Flowers, Lady Gaga and Beyonce, the Loose Cannons rose to new heights when they hit 1.6million views on YouTube with their re-work of the Ray Charles classic, Hit the Road Jack. The Cannons have gone back to the nu-disco dance floors they started out on for 2013.

Rob da Bank said: ‘Undoubtedly, the finest party DJs this side of Mars and our Bestival after-party DJs of choice.’

Homeboys Trix & Mayhem who have been a mainstay at Beats & Swing and the Bamboo Bar for a full year now will headline the night. Be sure to catch these ‘two seriously cool cats from the wrong side of down town Swingville’.

Doors open at 9pm and entry is £8.

If you want to get patriotic and like your share of cheesy pop then Popworld have got the night for you on Tuesday night. They are presenting a St George’s Day special with a Knights vs. Dragons theme. Entry is free.
