Have your say

There may not be much going on in the middle of this week but I’ve got so much action to tell you about for Friday and Saturday night that, you surely won’t survive until then anyway.

Club 8 starts everything off tonight with its newest night, which is proving very popular, 212. If you are still unsure about what this night is about, it’s simple – two floors, one club and £2 drinks.

Mainstay DJ-A is back once again to effortlessly lay down the tunes. Since starting back in 2005, DJ-A has come quite a way in a short space of time, already having the opportunities to work alongside, and warm-up for some big names in the game including Tim Westwood and N-Dubz. His remixes and mash-ups have even made the air on BBC Radio 1Xtra.

Tonight is special, as he will be joined by UK Garage legend MC Neat.

Better known for his duo with DJ Luck, they are famous for having three consecutive Top 10 hits in 1999 and 2000, their biggest hit being A Little Bit of Luck.

The night starts at 9pm and entry is free before 10pm.

Up .dnb returns to the Wedgewood Rooms tonight with one of their strongest line-ups to date. The night will feature ST, Foreign Concept, Emporer, Kasra and Phace all expertly hosted by Bassline MC.

2011 was a big year for UP.dnb, with Dan Stewart taking over the president’s role and kicking things off in September with Foreign Concept.

The great nights followed with a Critical Sound then Break and Dub Phizix. Adam Walmsley took the reins as president in 2012, starting the student term off with a bang as UP.dnb brought Spectrasoul down for a sell-out event. They are looking to carry on this great form in 2013 with tonight’s event.

The night runs from 9pm until 3am and entry is £10.

Finally, Babylon opens its doors tonight and tomorrow for those of you who are proponents of the comfortable yet lazy-chic styling of the onesie. Smirnoff brings you Night Night Fever – a night of pop, retro and bed wear.

Entry is free and if you buy a woo woo partini for £10.25, you’ll get a free pair of Smirnoff slippers.
