BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong plays live at the Pyramids tomorrow night.
The DJing demi-god has graced the decks of the best clubs and festivals worldwide.
As a producer, he has assembled the music for movie soundtracks including The Beach, Human Traffic and 24 Hour Party People and has produced his own material under various guises.
As a broadcaster, clubland DJ and music industry tastemaker he creates a balance between credibility and commerciality.
And he’s not afraid to drop some massive hits in his sets.
‘People forget it’s entertainment,’ Pete explains.
‘I wouldn’t be doing this if I couldn’t champion new music, but a mix is the key. And it’s supposed to be fun.’
n Doors open at 9pm tomorrow at the Clarence Esplanade venue in Southsea. Tickets cost £13.75 from gigantic.com and the night is open to over 18s only.
