The finalists are singer Louise Redknapp, BBC Sports presenter Ore Oduba and Hollyoaks actor Danny Mac.

Sarah Williams is principal of Timestep Academy of Dance & Performing Arts in Portchester and Cosham, and studied at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, where past Strictly contestants Pixie Lott and Natalie Gumede trained.

She said: ‘It’s been an incredible series this year.

‘The standard and quality of dance has been fantastic, and the finalists are just brilliant.

‘It will be hard to say who will win this year but my favourites are Louise and Kevin.

‘Kevin’s choreography is always phenomenal and he has a wonderful partner this year. One of my personal favourites was their Calamity Jane-themed Quick Step.

‘They displayed strong musicality and connection with all the important quickstep technique.’

Meghann Buckley is a dance trainer at Giselle Academy of Dance and School in London Road, Portsmouth.

She said: ‘I believe that Danny Mac could be the winner. I’ve not watched the show religiously but what I have seen makes me think that Danny will win.

‘He’s the contestant everyone talks about and likes. He has such a public following.

‘He’s also got a good bit of background training, and is a bit of a triple threat.

‘In fact a friend called me earlier, and he said that after watching the show and seeing Danny he wants to go back to dancing again.

‘Danny’s dance partner Oti Mabuse, has only danced professionally on the show once before, but it seems that is not an achilles heel for the pair.’
