HAVANT: Staunton Country Park, Middle Park Way, PO9 5HB. Easter Eggstravaganza. Families can take part in an Easter trail, animal encounters and crafts. Go along on Easter Sunday to take part in an egg hunt meet the Easter Bunny.
PORTSMOUTH: National Museum of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, HM Naval Base, PO1 3LJ. Where’s Wilf? Easter trail. Wilfred the Rabbit lived on board HMS Centurion but this Easter holiday he is hiding somewhere in the galleries. Follow the clues to track him down in this self-guided activity. Mini rabbit hunters can also borrow an under 5s Sensory Bunny Bag to help them explore the museum.
PORTSMOUTH: Portsmouth Museum, Museum Road. Easter trails. Take part in an animal or detective trail around the museum and receive an Easter prize. Visit portsmouthmuseums.co.uk for more info
PORTSMOUTH: Action Stations, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, HM Naval Base, PO1 3LJ. Easter egg workshop. Colour your own designer egg, then cut it out and your design will be included on the giant decorated egg display.
PORTSMOUTH: HMS Warrior 1860, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, HM Naval Base, PO1 3LJ. Easter egg trail. The Easter Bunny has hopped all over the ship, leaving a trail of Easter Eggs behind him. Solve the clues to find the Easter Eggs hidden on HMS Warrior.
ROWLANDS CASTLE: Stansted Park, PO9 6DX. Easter egg hunt and train ride. Follow the hunt around the Arboretum, towards the Stansted Park light railway & past the amazing maze. Then find your way back to The Walled Garden to collect your prize. Tickets must be pre-booked and are available from The Pavilion.
SOUTHSEA: The Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Quays, PO1 3TT. Celebrate with chocolate. The iconic tower will be celebrating its tenth Birthday over Bank Holiday weekend by inviting guests to decorate a sweet treat to a Birthday, Easter or spring time theme. Prizes will be given to the best decorated treats. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the usual Spinnaker attractions such as the glass floor and audio guides.
SOUTHSEA: Kings Theatre, Albert Road, PO5 2QJ. Calamity Jane. The Watermill Theatre returns with an intimate new production of the classic musical Calamity Jane starring Jodie Prenger. Calamity Jane can outrun and outshoot any man in Deadwood but things don’t go too smoothly when she travels to Chicago and it takes her long standing enemy Wild Bill Hicock
to make her see sense.
SOUTHSEA: Blue Reef Aquarium, Clarence Esplanade, PO5 3PB. Yuck! Easter. Dedicated to some of the world’s most disgusting animals. Find out all their frightful facts and horrible habits as well as getting involved with a series of hands-on experiments.
SOUTHSEA: Southsea Skatepark, Clarence Esplanade, PO5 3NZ. Roller disco. An evening of dancing and skating, with live music and DJs from dance music to disco.
