Elton John will be bringing his '˜emotional' farewell tour back to the UK for six more dates, it has been announced.Â

The Rocket Man singer kicked off his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in September in the United States and will be on the road until 2021. 

Sir Elton had previously announced two shows in the UK for 2019 but will be returning for an '˜emotional' sent off in 2020 with six more dates. 

'˜The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour will take us to many places that have meant a lot to me over the last 50 years, but these UK shows will be incredibly special.' he said.

Which is Sir Elton playing on Farewell Yellow Brick Road? 

In 2019 he will be playing at the 1st Central County Ground in Hove and Cardiff City Stadium in Wales on June 9 and June 15 respectively. 

But now he has announced six more dates for the following year. He will be playing at: 

- London, O2 Arena.

- Birmingham, to both the Arena and the Resorts World Arena

- Liverpool, the Echo Arena

- the Manchester Arena

- Aberdeen, the Events Complex 

- Glasgow, SSE Hydro 

When is he touring? 

Sir Elton will be on the road for the next three years, starting in September 2018 through to 2021. 

He will be touring the Uk in June 2019 and November to December 2020 on the following dates: 

November 2020

- Fri 6 - The O2, London

- Sat 7 - The O2, London

- Mon 9 - Arena, Birmingham

- Weds 11 - Resorts World Arena, Birmingham

- Fri 13 - Echo Arena, Liverpool

- Sat 14 - Echo Arena, Liverpool

- Tue 17 - Arena, Manchester

- Fri 20 - The Events Complex Aberdeen (TECA), Aberdeen

- Sat 21 - The Events Complex Aberdeen (TECA), Aberdeen

- Tue 24 - The SSE Hydro, Glasgow

- Wed 25 - The SSE Hydro, Glasgow

- Sat 28 - Arena, Manchester

December 2020

- Mon 7 - First Direct Arena, Leeds

How do I get tickets and when do they go on sale? 

Tickets for the newly-announced string of dates in 2020 will go on general sale on Friday November 16 at 10am, with the pre-sale starting at 10am on Tuesday November 13.

So general sale will be available just over a week from now. 

How much will tickets cost? 

The prices for the 2020 dates have not been revealed yet '“ however on Ticketmaster the tickets for 2019 dates cost between £225 and £849.
