Extra showing announced of BAFTA-winning movie

AN ADDITIONAL screening of a multiple award-winning film has been announced due to overwhelming demand.

No6 Cinema at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard will be showing Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (15) a second time this Saturday, after tickets for the screening on February 16 sold out.

The dark comedy-drama, which recently won five BAFTAs including Best Film, stars Frances McDormand as a mother who wages war against the local chief of police and his violently immature second-in-command – played by Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell respectively – after they fail to make any arrests for her daughter’s murder.

In last Friday’s (February 23) edition of The Guide supplement, The News stated that the screening is starting at 7pm, but the correct start time is actually 4.15pm.
