A FIREWORKS finale is planned to end a weekend of live musical entertainment.

On Saturday, Live at the Bandstand, in Southsea, sees an afternoon tea dance of 1940s music, provided by the Three Belles and Pete Weston Big Swing Band, from 1pm to 4pm.

This is followed by an evening of classical music, from 6pm to 9pm, by the Bossard Quartet and The Victory Brass Band.

Then on Sunday an evening of tribute music runs from 6pm to 9.30pm.

The weekend will be concluded with a fireworks display.

People can bring picnics and chairs along.
