A small choir celebrating its runner-up trophy in the classical music category at The Guide Awards goes to All Saints’ Church in Commercial Road, Portsmouth, on Saturday, March 21 (7.30pm), for its first concert since that success.

Portsmouth Baroque Choir will sing 16th century English music by Tallis, the Stabat Mater and Requiem by 19th century German composer Josef Rheinberger, and works by 20th century French composers Faure and Durufle.

The choir is directed by Malcolm Keeler and accompanied by Portsmouth Anglican Cathedral’s sub-organist, Oliver Hancock.
