Butserfest returns today to the foot of Butser hill in Queen Elizabeth Country Park, near Horndean.

The drink and drugs-free festival features established names such as We Are The Ocean and Mallory Knox alongside up-and-coming acts like Kerrang! Best British Newcomer nominee Fearless Vampire Killers.

Subsource, Natives, Attention Thieves, Max Raptor and many more will hit the main stage while the Glory or Death Stage hosts the likes of Bleed From Within, Heights and Hacktivist.

In addition to the usual high-volume performances, Butserfest 2013 sees the return of the popular accoustic sets, intimate backstage performances that give fans an opportunity to get closer to their favourite bands and see them play exclusive sets to a select audience.

This year Mallory Knox, Max Raptor, Heights, A Tale of Two Cities and We Start Partys will be playing accoustic sets to crowds of just 30 lucky festival goers.

For ticket holders that still have the energy, following the live sets, there are games including bungee runs, laser tag and an inflatable wrecking ball to keep people entertained.

Tickets: £20 (plus online booking fee of £1.75) from
